Good News Sebastian! The Friends of St. Sebastian River are having their January meeting for an update on issues and challenges facing the Indian River Lagoon.

They will be meeting 6PM at the North Indian River County Library, 1001 Sebastian Blvd in Sebastian.

“Kathy Hill, Deputy Director and Chief Communications Officer for the Indian River Lagoon Council will give a presentation highlighting some of the projects they are working on at the IRL National Estuary Program to address health issues of the Lagoon, as well as some of their long-range plans. She will also show the Council’s recently released “One Lagoon” video showcasing its natural beauty, with an overview of actions to be taken to help improve lagoon health.
