Fellsmere Frog Leg Festival Returns Jan. 15–18 with Food, Fun and Free Admission
FELLSMERE, Fla. — The 35th Annual Fellsmere Frog Leg Festival will take place Thursday, January 15 through Sunday, January 18, 2026, at the Old School Complex in downtown Fellsmere, continuing one of Florida’s most beloved winter traditions. Article photo was taken by Ryan Rafuls
The four-day festival celebrates Fellsmere’s rich heritage with carnival rides, live entertainment, arts and craft vendors, and its famous frog leg and gator tail dinners. The event is designed to be family-friendly and affordable, offering free admission and free parking throughout the weekend. A popular drive-thru dinner option will once again be available for guests who want to grab festival food without leaving their cars.

Festival Food & Pricing
The Frog Leg Festival is nationally known for its unique menu, which features frog legs, gator tail, and classic Southern sides. Prices listed on the festival’s official menu include:
- Frog Pop — $5 (single frog leg on a stick)
- Frog Leg Dinner — $18 (served with grits, coleslaw, and hushpuppies)
- Frog Pounder — $17 (one pound of frog legs, no sides)
- Gator Pop — $5 (gator tail bites)
- Gator Tail Dinner — $18 (served with sides)
- Gator Pounder — $17 (one pound of gator tail)
- Combo Plate — $20 (frog legs and gator tail with sides)
Carnival & Rides
The festival’s midway will feature carnival rides and games for all ages. All-You-Can-Ride wristbands will be available:
- Thursday & Sunday — $20
- Friday & Saturday — $25
Each wristband provides unlimited rides for the day or evening purchased.
