Vero Beach International Tennis Open Returns for Fifth Anniversary

The Vero Beach International Tennis Open (VBITO) returns to the Grand Harbor Golf & Beach Club in Vero Beach, Florida from January 26 through February 1, 2026, marking its fifth year as a premier professional women’s tennis tournament on the USTA Pro Circuit. The $75,000 event is one of only ten tournaments of its level held in the United States and attracts elite competitors from around the world.

More than 100 professional women players representing over 30 countries are expected to compete, with many ranked between approximately 100 and 200 globally. Matches are played on Grand Harbor’s clay courts and are scheduled daily beginning at 11:00 a.m., with championship finals taking place on Sunday, February 1.

In addition to high-level tennis competition, the tournament features a full slate of community and social events throughout the week. These include an opening ceremony, fashion show dinner, Pro-Am matches allowing guests to play alongside professionals, an art show and wine social highlighting local artists, Kids’ Day with youth tennis activities, car shows featuring Porsche and other vehicles, and a formal dinner dance with live entertainment. The event has drawn thousands of spectators in past years and continues to grow in regional and international recognition.

Volunteer

Volunteers play a critical role in the success of the Vero Beach International Tennis Open, supporting both tournament operations and the overall guest experience. Volunteer opportunities are available in a wide range of roles, including ball crew positions assisting during matches, guest services and ushering, parking and traffic coordination, court maintenance for the clay surfaces, and scoreboard operation.

Additional volunteer roles include assisting with player services, supporting referees and officials, selling merchandise, helping with ticket sales, and serving as greeters throughout the tournament grounds. Volunteers register online and are able to select shifts in advance. Tournament organizers recommend opting in to text message communication, which is used to coordinate schedules and provide updates during tournament week.

Tickets for the Vero Beach International Tennis Open are available through the official event website and offer multiple options for spectators. Single-day general admission tickets allow access to tournament grounds and matches for one day, while full-week general admission passes provide access throughout the entire tournament.
