What an Event!

The 2025 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS)—its 66th edition—ran October 29 to November 2, 2025, again turning Fort Lauderdale into a sprawling, multi-venue showcase for the marine industry.

The show drew 100,000+ visitors and featured about 1,000 exhibitors and 1,300+ boats, from entry-level runabouts to headline-grabbing superyachts, with a heavy focus on new model debuts, brokerage activity, and on-the-water tech and gear. Post-show coverage and FLIBS’ own wrap-up pointed to a strong close to the 2025 season, highlighting continued demand at the high end (including large superyachts) while the event reinforced its major economic footprint for South Florida.

The 2025 edition also delivered a noticeably elevated guest experience, bolstered by the full reopening of Pier Sixty-Six, which reemerged as a centerpiece of the show.

The revitalized marina hosted major FLIBS exhibits, while the resort’s accommodations, dining, and waterfront atmosphere added a refined, destination-level feel across all seven show locations. New hospitality features, including the Windward Cabana Club, along with curated culinary programming, helped position FLIBS as not only a boat show but a full marine-lifestyle event.

Beyond the docks, FLIBS 2025 placed a strong emphasis on education, innovation, and stewardship. Expert-led seminars at the Broward County Convention Center explored sustainability and emerging marine technologies, while the Honours Awards and Best of Show Awards spotlighted global leadership, philanthropy, and design excellence within the industry.

Community impact was also front and center, with show-goers contributing more than $8,000 toward hurricane recovery efforts in Jamaica—underscoring FLIBS’ growing role as both an economic engine and a platform for global good.
